The Playing Field Is Even, Now It Just Comes Down To Preference
Monday, June 7, 2010 at 6:37PM
The iPhone 4 has been announced today, and while I was not shocked by what was announced by the beloved Steve Jobs, I was pleased by what was released. As Louis Gray said, the iPhone 4 is nice, and IMO, really nice, but it isn't going to slow down Android.
And that is just O.K. with me.
I am no longer looking at smartphone market with a bunch of crappy devices and a few outliers that are really great. I am now looking at smartphone market with a bunch of comparably great phones that fill basically all of my needs. What it really comes down, and what really makes me happy to say, is that the market has now come down to preference. Not one phone manufacturer/company and/or OS is better than one or the other when it comes down to the battle between Android and the iPhone.
My preference today? The iPhone.
